Purpose
All information published is intended to have academic, educational,
informational and/or research value. It is the goal of biij
to promote academic electronic publishing and is a non-profit
organisation. It is also the official publication for the
following organisations:

Although the editorial board of this journal has taken every
effort possible to ensure that no inaccurate or misleading
data, opinions or statements appear in this publications,
the data and opinions appearing in the articles and advertisements
herein are the responsibility of the contributor or advertiser
concerned.
The content of biij should not be construed as medical
advice.
Liability
Accordingly the COR, the biij and the editorial board
of this online journal accept no liability whatsoever for
the consequences of any such inaccurate or misleading data,
opinions or statements. Specifically with regards to drug
doses, readers are strongly advised that methods and techniques
involving drug usage as described in this online journal should
be followed only in conjunction with the drug manufacturer's

Authority
The Honorary Editors were selected according to her/his knowledge
in the field of biomedical imaging and intervention. She/he
is responsible for establishing a credible, international
and functioning editorial board. All members of the editorial
board are displayed in the 'Editorial
Board' page and their e-mail addresses are displayed.
The authors of any published material are clearly displayed/acknowledged
by name, affiliation and (if available) are linked to their
corresponding e-mail address.
Currency
Every effort has been taken by the editorial board to ensure
currency of all published information. For online/internet
accessed published articles, reviews, case reports, multimedia
slide shows, streaming videos, letter to the editors, and
editorials, each must have the following citation/currency
information attached:

Archiving
Policy
biij shall make all effort to maintain archives with all
the prior published information. The web site was set up 2005
with the goal to maintain such archives at an unchanged URL's
of the published information in order to ensure future accessibility
to all published articles.
Links
Whenever possible, biij will take advantage of the
possibilities of the Internet and display links to referenced
articles or sources as mentioned in articles, reviews, case
reports, multimedia slide shows, streaming videos, letter
to the editors, and editorials to enable the user/reader the
possibility to immediately access refereed sources on the
Internet. biij will not be responsible for any content
displayed on other web sites externally linked from biij.
Confidentiality
The confidentiality of published data and pictures used in
biij shall be maintained.
Conflict
of Interest / Advertising Policy
All efforts are made by biij to disclose any conflict
of interest between presented information and sponsors of
the online journal. Advertising logos are clearly presented
as such and do not influence the editorial freedom of the
